Surprise! Today, Square Enix released a DEMO for the Final Fantasy VII: Remake on the PlayStation 4. So far, I’ve done a pretty good job of avoiding coverage of the game, aside from promotional trailers and art. So tonight will be a fairly pure impression of how the game looks and feels for someone who’s already beat the original Final Fantasy VII on the PlayStation.
That was awesome and super nostalgic. I can’t wait until the game is released on April 10. Even after hearing that the game’s be segmented into episodic parts, I’m still excited.
I even have high hopes for the game. If the rest of the game turns out to be no better than the demo, it would surely be a shame. However, it would still be a beautiful reflection of a game that means a lot to me and many others.
