We’re back playing more Final Fantasy VII: Remake, and we’re in the Wall Market area of Midgar. It’s been a while since I’ve played the original Final Fantasy VII, so I’m interested to see how well I remember what happens next and how the remake modernizes it.
What a wild ride! From more interesting and rewarding side quests to the over-the-top main story mission to save Tifa, this section of the remake is a shining example of successfully reimagining an already memorable experience.
I was so engaged by the story and gameplay that I forgot to solve the show with the gun turret before progressing. Fortunately, I know that I can back track from sector 5 to the Wall Market. Then there’s also back tracking all the way to the church from a Part 2.
