I know what you’re thinking, “Really? Grand Theft Auto V (2013) is over 6 years old and you’re just now starting to play online!?” Well, while I’ve been prototyping immersive production elements for my stream using GTA V as a foundation, I was seduced into playing the GTA Online after seeing how much has been added.
My first impression of GTA Online when it initially came out was unimpressive to say the least, and I didn’t play that far past the introductory missions. Since then I’m now curious to explore all that has been added, with their latest major content additions being The Diamond Casino & Resort and Heist in 2019, and Open Wheel Racing in 2020.
“Aw, sh*t! Here we go again…”
Well, we’re slowly making progress building up our underground criminal empire. Unfortunately, learning and understanding how to run the smoothest GTA Online operation after all these years is still not very intuitive.
What is most important is that we’re having fun. Even though there were a few encounters with obvious hacking (”modding”), we were able to steer relatively clear away from the chaos. Now I’m looking forward to more fun.
