My entire household is currently sick, my immune system needs some motivation, and my mind needs a distraction. So we’re going to play Absolver, a fighting game that I picked up during the Steam Winter Sale. Hopefully the worst of my illness is over, but who knows how this bug has adapted within my family. Either way, we fight and we adapt or we die.
There seems to be a significant learning curve for learning my own characters moves, combos, and overall combat techniques and strategies. Nevertheless, the game looks and feels good, and this helps to make the grind to becoming better less of a chore. It’s zen-like to learn my own natural style and get an organic feel for the game. However I’ll probably return to streaming the game once I become more competent in the game.
