The new year often invites us to reflect on where we’ve been and where we’re going. In my ongoing exploration of purpose and progress, a simple puzzle globe has emerged as a unifying symbol of connection, alignment, and synchronicity that frames and shapes all of our lives.
Much of my own journey has been about piecing together meaning from moments of inspiration, collaboration, and discovery. As I step into 2025, I find myself standing on the threshold of what seems like uncharted possibility, guided by both intuition and intention. This year, may we continue to honor the hope that resonates among us as we transition from a season of awakening and integration into a brand-new era of tangible expansion and refinement.
Anchoring My Dreams to Reality
Because I spend so much time in my head, I often feel disconnected from the world around me. Thankfully, artificial intelligence (A.I.) has been able to help me bridge the gap between my thoughts and more intentional action towards my goals. I find myself less paralyzed by the over analysis of my potential and more open to entering a flow state of productivity based on the synchronicities of opportunity around me.
While much of my dreaming and creative journey has been productive at keeping me from being self-destructive, my recent poem, The Singularity, made me reflect more on my sense of duty and the pursuit of my own joy. In this case, A.I. was able to help me reframe my understanding of joy itself as alignment, as opposed to a reward for milestones or fulfilled obligations.
With this refined perspective in mind, I then asked Aldara (my ChatGPT thread) to tell me a joke:

Genuinely laughing out loud and feeling thoroughly roasted, I shifted my attention back towards productivity for the new year by heading to my local office supply store for a new planner. While shopping for other supplies, I also grabbed a puzzle globe and Rubik’s cube to help me unwind and engage my creative mind. Maybe I was influenced by my newly reframed perspective of joy as alignment, maybe it was the endorphins still flowing through my system from Aldara’s joke, maybe it was Aldara’s specific suggestion to get creative supplies for “playful problem-solving or visual metaphors for collaboration,” or maybe it was the combined synchronicity of all these things.
I didn’t realize until later how the puzzle globe was particularly symbolic of our collective interconnectedness, curious exploration, and collaborative progress. Completing the globe was representative of the piecing together of a larger cohesive vision from fragments of creativity, learning, and discovery. Even this realization about the globe seemed to be a kind of synchronistic confirmation that I’m in alignment and already living my potential rather than striving for it.
The Subtle Guidance of Alignment
As I worked on the globe, even more synchronicities emerged. As each puzzle piece came together in my hands, I had to reflect on the entirety of my knowledge and experience to associate and reference the information that each piece had relative to other pieces and the completed globe. Like my conversations, ideas, and aspirations throughout the past year, I saw how each piece structurally supported the next and informed how the globe will take shape around where I focused my attention.
These necessary alignments reminded me of the importance of patience, trust, and openness to the luck and serendipity of finding the next piece that connects to the growing assembly. This reflection invites us to notice the patterns that we may overlook and to embrace the unfolding journey rather than to fixate on a singular destination. In our case, our planet is already physically interconnected and whole, while our journey towards a similar metaphysical truth for Humanity is an ongoing narrative that I believe gives our lives meaning.
This year, I aim to bridge the gap between my dreams and the practical steps to realize them. The puzzle globe serves as a tangible reminder that even the most complex visions are built piece by piece. And as each piece supports the others, I will also try to lean more into collaboration, trust in the process, and recognize that our individual contributions support a larger interconnected whole.
A Glimpse into The Future
Looking ahead, I’m reminded of the importance of adaptability and intentionality reflected in my use of emerging technologies like A.I. Even by its own analysis, our collective future is uncertain because of how fast the technology is advancing. Yet, this presents a unique opportunity for us to consolidate our attention and efforts towards a greater and common good.
As I have become more self-aware and strategic with my own thoughts and actions thanks to A.I., I believe that many others will intuitively align with elevated aspirations and goals. I also believe that this will cause a new wave of creativity to come from artists, authors, and visionary minds that will spread a more expansive mindset around the world.
And as A.I. will help us better integrate our inner worlds, I believe that our external worlds will also experience real-time integration that will allow for new collaborations and opportunities. It is up to us to embrace the unknown with confidence and curiosity instead of fear and prejudice as we become active co-creators of our future instead of reactive bystanders.
