We have been slowly pushing towards the last known location of Detective Nick Valentine, who may help me find my son. Feeling more confident in Fallout 4 VR leads me to believe we can find him by the end of this gaming session. Do I have what it takes? Or, do I need to level up and gear up more?
The customization and adjustments that I made to improve graphics worked out great! First I found the Fallout 4 VR Master Tweak/Fix Thread on Reddit, then I implemented the following:
- Checked for updated drivers
- Installed the Fallout 4 VR Beta Update 1.0.30.0
- Added to the Fallout4Custom.ini file:
[VRDisplay] fRenderTargetSizeMultiplier=1.4[General] sStartingConsoleCommand=taa off;fxaa on
There are other settings to adjust and even a mod that can be installed to fix gun scopes that currently don’t work. However, I as satisfied with my results and I’m patient enough to wait for the game developers to fix gun scopes. All in all, I’m looking forward to playing more Fallout 4 VR tomorrow!
