Tonight should serve as the epilogue to our adventures in Ghost of Tsushima. There is still plenty of game to play when it comes to collectibles and side quests, but as far as the main story goes, I think we’re pretty much done. So far, Ghost of Tsushima is my personal Game of the Year, and I hope you’ve enjoyed it as much as I have.

As of right now, Ghost of Tsushima is my personal game of the year for 2020. While I think the game fell just short of great, everything felt good from the controls, to the stories, to the overall aesthetics. Based on the games that I’ve played, Ghost of Tsushima definitely raised the overall bar for open world games.

Even now, I’m looking forward to completing all of the unfinished side quests. Meanwhile, I’m still satisfied with the completion of the main story line and my overall experience. I really hope that other open world game developers take note of everything that Ghost of Tsushima did right, without having to become a Grand Theft Auto or Red Dead Redemption clone.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I give Ghost of Tsushima a solid 9 out of 10.
