Let’s Play: Ghost of Tsushima (PS4), Part 1

Do we play Ghost of Tsushima as a “dishonorable” ninja, or a more honorable samurai? Is it possible to stealth the entire game outside of forced confrontation? Is it possible to only engage in combat through stand-offs, parries, and counter strikes? I wonder…

So far, Ghost of Tsushima is really fun even though it’s not very difficult, even at the “hardest” difficulty. Once you get the hang of the combat timing, and as long as you have a little patience, there’s nothing more to combat than prioritizing enemies and controlling the engagement.

At this point in the game my priority is simply to look cool and feel awesome while leaning into the tropes of the “honor above all” samurai. All the while taking my time to enjoy the setting and the scenery, feeling no need to rush or grind to the next objective or upgrade.
