Let’s Play: Gears Tactics (PC), Part 3

We’re playing more Gears Tactics to further explore the game’s mechanics, potential and story. My first impressions were surprisingly good, but I’m not sure if my experience is already starting to plateau. We have yet to see a big boss fight, and we have only scratched the surface of the skill trees, so I’m hopeful that the best is yet to come.

Now we’re talking! It looks like bumping up the difficulty to Insane is how I overcome the feeling of being overpowered, and get a genuinely fun and engaging challenge. We’ve also reached the our first epic boss fight with a giant tank goliath, so things are getting interesting. Now my biggest concern is finding all the extra time I’ll need to strategize to overcome the added difficulty.
