Let’s Play: Rainbow Six Siege (PC) Surprise Saturday Stream

Let’s see how easy it is for me to stream some Rainbow Six Siege on an off day, on the fly. Even though my kids are at their grandparents’ house, and not interfering. At least I can establish a controlled environment that I can reference for future improvised streams.

So that’s probably the last time that I play Rainbow Six Siege over the weekend. It felt like there were a lot more younger and inexperienced players who play on the weekends, like those who go to school or work during the weekdays. And in a game as old as Siege, with a player base as potentially dedicated and hardcore as the Siege community, the resulting multiplayer environment during the weekends seems pretty toxic.

I observed a specific level of toxicity that felt like it was tailored for youth and inexperience. While this attitude was seemingly out of place in Casual Multiplayer verses Ranked Multiplayer, I got the a sense that these trolls were self appointed gate keepers for enjoying Siege Multiplayer at all. Then there was the counter movement of toxicity would just be young and inexperienced players ruining any game they joined before being inevitably kicked or team killed.

Every now and then, we found a decent team and played some good games. But until I can fully insulate my weekend experience with a majority hand picked squad, I think I’ll stick to the weekdays when I have less of a track record for encountering such overly aggressive trolls.
